Located in the heart of Bellevue, Jing Jing Asian Market is a vibrant and thoughtfully curated destination for anyone seeking an authentic Asian grocery shopping experience. This well-stocked supermarket expertly balances a wide array of traditional Chinese and Japanese ingredients with essentials from other Asian cuisines, providing both everyday staples and unique finds that inspire culinary creativity at home.
From the moment you step inside, you’ll notice that Jing Jing Asian Market is larger and more comprehensive than it appears from outside. The aisles brim with a colorful assortment of snacks, fresh Asian vegetables and fruits, and specialty products that reflect the rich diversity of Asian food culture. The variety is truly impressive, with everything from familiar staples to harder-to-find delicacies, making it a treasure trove for food lovers eager to explore new flavors or recreate beloved dishes.
A standout feature that truly elevates Jing Jing is its mini deli and hot food counter, frequently praised by customers for both quality and variety. Whether you’re craving a freshly prepared Chinese deli rice box (biandang/caifan) or a warm snack from the rotating hot food selection, the deli offers a delightful, fast dining option. Loyal patrons appreciate the recent return to customizable meal choices—a feature that truly enhances value compared to larger chains like T&T, giving you not just convenience but a personal touch with every order.
But what really lingers in the memory is the welcoming atmosphere created by the friendly staff and the thoughtful touches sprinkled throughout the market. Customers regularly mention promotions like the unexpected free dumplings when spending over $50, adding a sense of community and appreciation that makes shopping here feel truly special. It’s these genuine moments that transform a routine grocery run into an enjoyable outing.
For those with a sweet tooth, the bakery selection doesn’t disappoint either. From flaky, delicate pastries to more indulgent treats, each bite is a small celebration of authentic Asian baking traditions. Many have shared fond memories of savoring these cakes right in their cars after shopping, a testament to their irresistible taste and quality.
While some longtime fans reminisce about similar markets lost to bigger competitors, Jing Jing Asian Market remains a beloved staple in Bellevue’s local food scene. Its unique blend of affordability, authenticity, and personable service positions it as more than just a supermarket—it’s a cultural hub where food lovers gather to explore, enjoy, and find the tastes of home.
I spent over $50 and got an order of free dumplings! I’m not 100% sure, but I think it could be a permanent promotion/incentive to shop here— either way, it was a very nice Asian grocery store that offers lots of varieties of snacks, Asian vegetables and fruits, and it even has a mini deli! Very cute and the staff were friendly.
Great while it was open. Will be missed now that was taken out by T&T. Their bakery was decent too. RIP
Very nice and well stocked Asian foods store. Larger on the inside than seems from outside. Prices are kind of average, but not high. Rotating stock and many basics always on hand. Large variety of products. Seems skewed toward Chinese and Korean cousines, but other culinary traditions' ingredients are available. Delicious hot food counter, but many ready to eat foods sell out quickly. Nice, tasty, almost addictive pastries, made on site. There is usually someone very helpful there who speaks English, but there is rarely the need to ask for help. I shop there regularly and appreciate the selection and the service. Definitely worth the visit.
They have a wide variety of pastries and different things. The pastries are beyond amazing. We all sat in the car and ate before leaving.
Great place to get authentic Chinese deli rice box / biandang / caifan. They finally let you pick the dishes now (after going entirely prepacked boxes during COVID). Much better value than T&T deli, and slightly better taste.
Was a great grocery when it was open offering the cheapest guan miao noodles as well as crab egg stuffed fish balls that I've only found at the 99 Ranch mart all the way in Renton. Unfortunately it's now closed, probably due to the huge T&T store that opened just a few blocks away.
Spacious clean store. Wide isles. Easy to find items on shelves. Large Asian selections Very reasonable to cheap prices on quality grocery items including fresh produce. They have nice Asian produce. Friendly atmosphere . Helpful employees. They have nice hot deli. & ready to heat & eat in prepared meals in the cooler & in the freezer. Good convenient location. Large parking lot.
